Ubora Coffee Roasters Augusta Information

Stepping into Ubora Coffee Roasters Augusta at 1128 Jones St, Augusta, GA 30901 feels like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of the city’s bustling coffee scene. Right from the moment you walk through the door, there’s this warm, inviting aroma of freshly roasted beans that hits you-like the place itself is greeting you by name. Locals often rave about the atmosphere here, and after a few visits, it’s easy to see why. Natural light spills across wooden tables, soft jazz hums in the background, and there’s a kind of relaxed buzz that makes it perfect for everything from casual catch‑ups with friends to sitting down with a good book or laptop.

The menu at Ubora has a thoughtful balance between classic espresso drinks and seasonal specials that keep regulars coming back. On my last visit, I tried their pour‑over, and it was smooth and bright with just the right amount of acidity-not bitter, and not watered down. A friend ordered the latte with oat milk, and the foam was velvety, holding delicate rosettas that made the coffee almost too pretty to drink. Pair any of these with a house‑made pastry-a buttery croissant or a zesty lemon scone-and you’ve got a morning routine that feels like a treat rather than a task.

Service here feels genuinely friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Baristas know regulars by name, ask about your day, and are happy to recommend a new roast if you’re feeling adventurous. It’s the kind of local spot where a quick errand for caffeine turns into a meaningful pause in your day. Reviews online often highlight this level of care, and after experiencing it firsthand, it’s clear these aren’t just polite comments-they reflect the heart of the place.

One of the coolest things about this location is how it sits comfortably in Augusta’s eclectic neighborhood, drawing in a mix of creatives, students, and professionals all in pursuit of excellent coffee. Whether you’re grabbing a midday pick‑me‑up or settling in for a slow morning, you’ll find that the vibe here encourages you to slow down and savor each sip. It’s more than just a coffee shop-it’s a local favorite that feels like a community living room with one of the best cups in town.

What People's Say About Place

Great tasty maple latte here! They were able to make it less sweet for me, have great pastry and sandwich options but unfortunately they seem to run out of breakfast sandwiches by around 9:30 or 10am. Otherwise great service!

Ubora now has breakfast sandwiches! Tried the sunrise and it was great…obviously, because I forgot to snap a pic before I ate it! The staff are friendly, coffee is great and roasted in house. I always have a great experience. Love this local downtown spot! Plus—Veteran Owned!!!

Unassuming coffee joint in downtown Augusta GA. You can't tell much about this place from the outside and it's located on a small back street. But when you enter, you'll see ample space with a cozy cafe vibe and plenty of seating area. I didn't read their reviews before coming here and just by chance ordered their hot Vietnamese coffee. During the wait for my coffee, I heard four other orders of the same thing being made. Then when I read the reviews, I found out this place is pretty well known for their Vietnamese coffee. Ample of street parking outside and nearby. There aare some pastries and sandwiches on the menu as well.

I love Ubora! It’s in my top 3 coffee shops in Augusta. The baristas are very nice and happy to give recommendations. I like their signature flavors and I have found really good drinks on their seasonal menu as well. This location is a great place to study and do work or meet friends to talk. There’s two really long tables and a couple high top tables. I’ve never ordered anything off the food menu so I can’t speak on it. There’s free parking in the gravel lot across from the entrance!

My wife and I are coffee fanatics and always on the look out for new coffee bars, we are completely in awe of everything Ubora offers. The cabin vibes surrounding the interior remind me of vacation while the richness of the coffee reminds me of Heaven on Earth! They have a saying about striving to make perfection in every cup & I believe they truly do! Amazing coffee, amazing food, amazing customer service! We will be back!

The best local shop in town! Huge space, warm and welcoming staff and great location. Shoutout to Elaine and her team for the recommendation ! Grab their copy of the Little Guide for Augusta if visiting!

From the moment I stepped into Ubora Coffee, I was transported to a bygone era of North Augusta's historic charm. The coffee shop's entrance offered a view of old-timey red brick buildings, across the street there is a closed leather company from days past, which perfectly complemented the vintage vibe of Ubora. The interior of this coffee shop was impressively spacious, reflecting their dual role as both a café and a coffee roaster. My favorite coffee shops roasts their own coffee beans in-house, and this detail always adds a unique touch to the ambiance, some what of an industrious vibe. I indulged in an iced mocha latte that was perfect. Accompanying my beverage was a bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese. I was super hungry I had been camping for two days so this sandwich at the time seemed like the best thing I had ever eaten. What truly made my visit memorable was the service. The person who took my order was incredibly helpful, they didn't mind how long it took me to order I tend to ask lots of menu questions ie what your favorite and stuff like that. Ubora Coffee is not just a coffee shop; it's an experience. It's a place where the past and present converge to create a warm, inviting atmosphere, complemented by delicious coffee and food. If you're passing through here stop in here for a bit. Ubora is a must-visit for any coffee enthusiast.

Tucked away on Jones Street is a coffee house roaster/purveyor that makes a mean cup of hot chocolate. My wife loved it. I had a medium roast coffee with cream and sugar. They placed the cream and sugar. I would have preferred to mix my own. The coffee was still very good. I'll be back for certain. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy your cup or drink of choice without loud music making you crazy. Both drinks with a tip came to a little over $6.90. Stop in and give them a try, you won't be disappointed. I found a new roast from them, Ethiopia. Wonderful blueberry notes.
